Apparently the above is true! Is it the weather? Is it post Christmas holiday longings to free time instead of realities of life and obligations? Is it the overwhelming feeling of the goals we set ourselves? Maybe it’s the faces of other people looking more rested than us? Or us hearing about great presents others have recieved that we didn’t? Perhaps all of these are true. Nothing can be as blue though than losing someone’s love. If you have lost someone you loved you have every right to be blue today, and for as long as you want to stay feeling blue. Of course this only applies on the condition that you can still get your work done, focus, be nice to people around you and effectively act as if you’re totally ok. Well….??? If you could do all that it would not have been love you lost. It really might be that long list of goals you set yourself at New Year’s Eve. :)- So blue or not, get cracking with the next 24 hours one small task at a time. This applies equally well to light sick days, uninspired days, days you’re feeling a bit bored and lack energy to be shining. If that should be you, I strongly suggest booking a holiday. Starting a new year is meant to be exciting! Make it be.
