In today’s highly complex and fast-paced world resilience differentiates those who thrive under pressure and those who get harmed by it. Stress is common and disempowering. The fight or flight, freeze loop shuts down the higher cortical brain areas. Stress prevents people from being creative problem solvers and wise decision-makers. Admittedly, daily work pressures that are outside of our control are unavoidable. By learning to develop and cultivate greater equilibrium in ourselves and others we can respond to work and life challenges with resilience and calm.
This session focuses on the factors which we can control, in particular how we respond to stressors, manage multiple agendas and get the best from others.
We will be learning how to turn the mind into a natural ally. My easy-to-implement techniques are designed to help you focus and enhance your composure, grace and authority even under pressure, and build greater resilience which you can bring to your patients, colleagues and loved ones.
The day will inspire, educate and most importantly equip with useful tools.
