At the same time, there are simple tools to spot the early signs, track your risk, and proven practices that can get you back on track.

The sessions
We meet over two days to give you the opportunity to apply what you learn in your life and at work.
Each 4-hour workshop offers the opportunity to:
- establish your starting point and pick a specific area where you will apply your learning,
- arm you with skills and insights that combine the latest research and what works in practice,
- practice how you apply skills to make positive changes and track improvement.
This highly practical workshop will give you the tools you need to do what you love without compromising your health and wellbeing.

Our Agenda
Day 1: We will look at the neurobiology of overworking and what drives imbalance along with a model for critical steps that lead to burnout so we can spot where you are, the factors that make you vulnerable and begin to design effective strategies to take back control. You will also be introduced to a practical tool to measure your energy levels so that you can stop burnout in its tracks.
Day 2. We will focus on the psychology that leads to burnout, including limiting beliefs you hold about the nature of success, achievement and what should or must get done. We will explore where these beliefs come from and how we can effectively counter them in ways that support results without the worry or energetic drain.

Introducing your workshops facilitator and guide, Dr. Magdalena Bak-Maier
Magdalena will be your expert guide for this 2-day masterclass. After burning out in science and research, Magdalena quickly learned that bad habits don’t go away all by themselves. This led her to look into burnout research and develop tools and a proven process to guard against it. Today she helps clients follow their passion on much healthier terms. She also works with leading researchers, entrepreneurs and professionals who suffer from burnout to help them recover and adopt better work habits. Magdalena has given lectures on this topic at the Royal Society of Occupational Medicine and the British Psychological Society.
