The Coaching at Work conference theme for 2021 is Languishing to Flourishing: Enhancing resilience and wellbeing during adversity. The annual conference will be held in a virtual format on 23 November 2021.
Join Dr Magdalena Bak-Maier at this year’s Coaching at Work conference for an in-depth workshop investigating The Divided Self.
Have you ever found yourself working hard yet feeling as if you and/or your clients were not shifting towards better?
In this practical workshop, Magdalena will draw together her exploration of a powerful and evidence-based model of psychotherapy called Internal Family Systems.
Internal Family Systems was developed by Richard Schwartz. It resonates with Magdalena both as a neuroscientist and with her observations as a coaching client and coach.
During the workshop, Magdalena will use IFS to investigate the question: could curiosity and compassion for our multi-faceted and divided self be as useful in coaching as it is in therapy?
Magdalena’s session on The Divided Self will offer an opportunity to explore oneself, learn about IFS theory and compare our experiences.
She will also share two practical activities that can be used with clients and yourself to prevent burnout, and support forward movement and flourishing based on the concept of greater wholeness.
You can register for this event via the Coaching at Work Annual Conference 2021 website.
