I have attended several Make Time Count Retreats over two years. I will continue to attend these retreats to:

1. Take time for myself to reflect, heal, learn and grow.
2. Magdalena and Make Time Count team create a safe space to share with others.
3. Magdalena is experienced, kind, caring, knowledgeable and her skill set is varied which ensures you get integration work with neuroscience, leadership and coaching.
4. Magdalena is a genuine and real person. She doesn’t hide behind a mask so it enables participants to heal, grow and learn – extremely powerful.

Magdalena puts her great scientific knowledge and personal experience at the service of one cause: helping people reach their full potential without causing them to destroy their lives. And it does so with sweeping competence, intelligence and sweetness. Being with her is transformative. I strongly recommend.

The Grant Writing Intensive programme (GWI) and the personalized coaching services provided by Magdalena were of crucial importance and had a strong impact in the success rate of NOVA’s grant approval.

Joao CrespoVice Rector for Research at NOVA University

A trail-blazer in getting many senior academics to take teaching, leadership and nurturing talent seriously.  She has done a great deal to address some deep-seated issues.   Where others (including me) saw the symptoms of the problem but had no real idea what to do, she clearly identified the problem and then went on to devise and run successful programmes that have made a real change.

Magdalena ran a parallel workshop at the recent Staff Developers Conference on Tapping Hearts and Minds to Enable People to Thrive in a VUCA World. She introduced us to her 4 step coaching approach. Even in a very short time is made us pause and recognise what we could do differently. I always find Magdalena interesting and inspiring to listen to – she has a knack of making me think very differently to the way I do normally. Never a bad thing!

Linda BryantHead of Learning and Development Cranfield University

Bournemouth University’s talent management aspirations have taken several steps forward as a result of Magdalena’s session. There was a real sense of energy in the room throughout the mix of exercises, case studies and anecdotes. A particularly powerful career mapping exercise got managers thinking about their own talent and how various bosses had influenced their career decisions. Brilliant – great intervention and looking forward to working with Magdalena again.

Julie BarberLeadership and Engagement Manager

I attended Magdalena’s workshop at the AICTP Conference and found it both infomative and practical. Her integrated model takes a very interesting approach, working holistically with the client. The experiential element was a great learning experience – both personally and professionally – thank you.

I attended a great workshop for doctors Magdalena delivered. It was on resilience and life-work balance and it was very inspirational and motivational. Magdalena delivered a phenomenally rich content with an engaging brilliance. She is very knowledgeable and she owns a broad, holistic, well-grounded in science and rigorous approach. As a person Magdalena is a true professional, with a very captivating approach, generous and quick-minded. I highly recommend attending Magdalena’s events because the workshop was a mind and sense blowing experience. It was definitely worth my time!

I attended an event on Working equilibrium in Liverpool recently where I had the pleasure of listening to Magdalena. She is incredibly knowledgeable and skilful at integrating neuroscience with leadership and coaching, as well as creating a comfortable safe space for the participants. I left feeling optimistic at the end of the event having been introduced to the Grid framework, which has been a game-changer for me so far.

I can’t recommend the grid and this book highly enough. It’s no exaggeration to say it has transformed my life by giving me the ability to juggle the different aspects and demands of my life. I’m a working mum with a young family and a large hairy (exercise hungry) hound and my own business. I’m also half way through a postgrad MSc. in Behavioural Change and coaching.

The other reviews here describe really well the descriptively simple approach – I won’t spend time adding to that description but you can see from my photo of last week’s grid, roughly what mine looks like. Magdalena’s system has helped me gain clarity and identify, on a single sheet of paper, the things that are really important to me in a format that allows me to then create balance in how I tackle the things I’d like to do and the things I have to do I.e. how I carve out spending my time.

I’m now able to wear my many hats comfortably, with purpose, my progress is visible, manageable and suddenly things feel more achievable.

The book itself is easy to read, easy to follow and easy to implement. But don’t let this simplicity fool you – it’s that that makes it so accessible and useable.

I’m so convinced of it’s worth by the difference it’s made to my own life that I now “teach” its principles and recommend Magdalena’s book to my own coaching clients where they’re suffering from the effects of overwhelm or have feelings of imbalance in their lives. They too, love it!

If any of this resonates with you, I would highly recommend you hesitate no further – dive in and buy this book. It is truly fantastic and definitely has the power to change lives. Thank you Magdalena ♥️
